I Got 99 Problems But My Hair Ain't One Of Them
Ran into an old friend the other day. We used to work together. He’s now happily back in the retail and beauty biz, selling fragrances at Sephora GC. So awesome to seeing him doing something he loves!
After the two of us were done catching up (and he had to get back to work), I lucked out and stumbled upon a display of Alterna hair stuff. That’s where and when I found this great leave in called Re-Texturizing Protein Cream (from their Caviar Repair RX line) – because what’s better than reconnecting with an old friend you can have laughs with? Discovering a fantastic cream that makes your hair look perfectly smooth and frizz free of course! #GoodHairMatters
In 2 days, this cream has become my new can’t live without hair product. It’s made my normally unruly, frizzy hair the softest and sleekest it’s been in ages – without a keratin or even a salon blowout. All I did was wash my hair (with the Alterna Caviar moisturizing shampoo & cond I already own), apply the leave in cream, air dry and then, run a straightening iron over a few of the outside layers. And my hair ended up looking soooo NICE.
This is a huge deal because my hair is extremely thick, coarse and color treated, so it generally takes way more effort and muscle to get it looking this straight. My sister (who’s been a hair stylist forever) is usually one of the only people who can whip my hair into this kind of shape. She’s so talented with a hair dryer and brush in fact that she can fool anyone into thinking that they have PERFECT hair – until, that is, the next time they wash their own hair at home and then, try (unsuccessfully) to recreate her magic. Don’t tell her, but I gotta say that this protein cream actually does the same thing she does – it tricks you into thinking you have perfect hair because when you use it, your hair looks a-mazing.
PS – Red eye aside, I think my hair looks practically PERFECT in this pix (where I’m laughing it up with a few of my friends). And I owe it all to Caviar RX Re-Texturizing Protein Cream. Well worth the $35 a tube price.
