3 Things You Cannot Live Without This Summer

Anyone who knows me knows I live to recommend things I discover that make my life infinitely better. Sometimes, I do go a little overboard talking up these things though and end up driving everyone around me mad crazy, so going forward, instead of babbling incessantly, I’m blogging.

Here are 3 of the most amazing things I’ve been talking up (sometimes ad nauseam) this summer:

Barlean's

1. Omega’s

Since I started taking 2 of these a day, my skin has never looked healthier and I’m not even using a bunch of serums or treatments on my face (as I have in the past). Now, I’m no DR (and always consult yours before taking any supplements), but I’m praising these to anyone and everyone, especially anyone who tells me how clear and glow-y my skin is looking these days.

Full Dusclosure: Omega’s are anti-inflammatory, but with that benefit come a few cautions – one of the most important being that they make you bleed more. I recently nicked myself shaving and was pretty startled to see how much I bled, so #BeWarned.

2. The InstaFollow App

The shadiest thing someone can do these days is NOT follow you back on Instagram. I mean I can see if Sarah Jessica Parker or Gwyneth Paltrow aren’t following you back, but a friend, co-worker or relative? Unacceptable. This FREE app keeps a running tally of anyone who has followed, unfollowed or blocked you on Instagram, so you have all the info you need and can act accordingly.

Full Disclosure: It can be pretty eye opening the first time you check in: Be prepared to unfollow a few people once you see the results.

3. J.Crew Linen T-Shirts

Been living in these all summer, especially the grey. On a hot day, they are way cooler than cotton and I say they even wash and wear better.

True confession: For a second, I thought I had gone overboard with my collection of grey t’s this year – until, my niece Grace told me she was shopping @ Natick Collection Mall yesterday and everyone there was wearing grey t’s with their jeans. Good to know I’m on point after all.
