From Drab To Fab: No More Hair Drama This Fall
How To Fall Back...In Love With Your Hair
My best hair days any time of year are usually the end result of someone else sectioning it off with clips and drying it using a round brush, followed by the all important flat ironing, which insures that the smoothness will last longer than 8 to 10 hours. Especially if (like me) you suffer from the F Word - FRIZZ. (Ask me about a recent appointment at a blowout bar in NYC during which they did NOT use a straightening iron and it was crazy humid outside.)
So, because I'm going to be traveling again soon, and rarely (NEVER) feel like taking extra time to attempt to straighten on my own at home, I went out and got another Keratin Complex Express Blowout. From start to finish (Hair is washed, towel dried, covered with the Express solution, heat dried, and finally, sealed with the straightening iron.), the process takes 1.5 to 2 hours, you can wash your hair after only 8 hours, and the benefits (more shine, shorter dry time & less frizz) last for up to 2 months - such a breeze for around 60 GREAT hair days, especially compared to other treatments which require (among other things) that you walk around with limp, greasy looking strands for up to 3 days.
Highly recommending to anyone who struggles with their hair daily and who doesn't have that EXTRA time in the am to spend standing in front of the mirror with an arsenal of tools and products. With the Express, you can wash, air dry, and GO. Without reaching for that bad hair day hat that's currently on standby. Also, if you have any gray hair (Who me?), it's not your imagination, it is a b*tch to deal with because it's extra coarse, unruly, and wiry. Ahh, the joys of getting older...The Express will not only smooth those out, but, if you camouflage them with dye, it will also help that color last longer.
In case you care about celebs and what they like, it's been rumored that Jen Aniston (The best revenge may be beautiful hair, but seeing Angie divorce Brad and the subsequent media frenzy can't hurt either.) Nicole Richie, and Beyonce are all fans of this. #redcarpetready
*Everyone I ran into after getting the Express complimented my hair.
**If you take the plunge, be sure to use a sulfate free shampoo (They are options available for every budget.) or you will cancel out the treatment.
Ciao for Now,
