2 Fantastic Spots All Your Friends Will Be Posting From This Winter In The OS

See this content in the original post

Winter in the OS just got way, way better…Sure, fake fur coats (They are everywhere! I have one and was pleasantly surprised to find that it’s pretty warm.) and drinks with CBD oil (If I had a dollar for everytime I saw someone repost that “Pours CBD Oil On Entire Life” meme on IG…) are trending in a big way here, but you’re going to need more than those to get you through the rest of the season around these parts. You know, during January & February, when there’s a storm every other week and half your friends are skipping town for Boca, Pompano or Naples FLA. These brand new lux and jet-setter-ish activities fit the bill quite nicely, thank you.

Swiss Alps By Way Of The WH

Can’t make it to the Swiss Alps to hobnob with the likes of Prince Charles, Tina Turner, Roger Federer, and Shania Twain? Well, the Ocean House in Watch Hill is bringing it to you - by way of a dining experience possibly inspired by something in Switzerland from 2016 called Fondue In The Sky (when a fleet of gondolas in Villars, Switzerland were turned into tiny little floating fondue restaurants). A splendid update to their partnership with world class champagne brand Veuve Cliquot, their newly unveiled Fondue Express is a custom crafted gondola that seats 4 for an authentic Alpine dinner or lunch, probably featuring lots of bubbly and melty cheese of course. So ring up your besties who live for Hello! and Town & Country, and that five star resort life, and make a reservation for one memorable meal.

Have An Ice Night

Next on the wintertime want list of places to see and be seen? The Igloos at Mare Rooftop. First spotted in NYC at places such as 230 Fifth Rooftop Bar (dating back to approx. 2016) & The Hoxton in Williamsburg, heated igloos are probably the coziest and most visually appealing way to enjoy drinks and din din up on a roof during the coldest months in the capital city. Reservations are required, and there’s a $500 minimum to kick back with your closest for a night of cheersing, so gather those friends who know a splurge is essential for both sailing through some of the most challenging months weather wise and channeling their favorite NYC-based Insta bloggers (like mbkimchi or heydavina).
