This Holiday Happening Opens Tonite In PVD & Boasts Over 1.5 Million Lites
Christmas Is The Season Of Light
So, it seems only too fitting that Roger Williams Park Zoo’s annual Holiday Lights Spectacular opens tonight at 5pm in Providence.
Last year it was strictly drive thru (see my photos above), but this time, as with their recent Jack-O_Lantern Spectacular, it will be a completely walkable experience. The perfect excuse to pick up a new beanie or oversized scarf to sport in your pics from there, if you ask me.
And I mean, who amongst us doesn’t want to get some extra steps in this weekend after the carb loading (sweet and mashed potatoes, warm bread and better, cakes and cookies, and more than likely if you are of Italian American heritage, some type of pasta) that took place yesterday on Thxgiving?
Sparkly Lights On November & December Nights*
With over 1.5 million lites (that’s gotta be some kind of record, amirite) and wonderful NEW displays and themes, it’s one of the most enjoyable ways to usher in Christmastime around here.
Also, in case you were wondering, I will be sharing videos and photos from HLS later tonight and tomorrow morning over on IG. (Full Disclosure: Absolutely ecstatic to be invited to attend!!!)
*Pssst — It’s actually on until January 2nd, in case you want an extra bit of that holly daze magic in 2022.
For additional details, including reserving your tickets, you’ll definitely want to coast over to their site.
As always, if you motor over after reading this, please do let them know you found out about it via Patty and PattyJ.com.
