Everything Is Cool

If you haven’t yet heard of or tried Tizzy K’s Cereal Ice Cream, no one could blame you.

They officially launched in August of 2019 and then there was last year’s unprecedented and challenging “lost summer.”

Also, full disclosure, I really dropped the ball the 1st year they started serving up their spin on ice cream flavors inspired by, and garnished with, all of our favorite cereals from childhood — because they reached out to me on social media and I ultimately didn’t end up circling back with them.

I Will Scream For Ice Cream (Also Bc I Got Lost)

Anywho, I finally made it over to the Rumford spot where they park their sweet little cart, on the side of St. Margaret School on Bishop Avenue, the other day (also find them scooping at Hope & Main as well as in the vicinity of the beautiful Providence Pedestrian Bridge beginning this month…you should also know at that location they add mini Rice Krispie Treats to the each and every cone whilst they last) and picked out a few pints.

Since I consider myself a sort of ice cream and cereal traditionalist, I opted for their Waffle Crisp and Oreo flavors. (See photo above and many thanks to the people at Tizzy K’s for my pints.)

They have a ton of different flavors (such as the wildly popular Fruity Pebbles) and like the folks over at PVDonuts, they change up their menu on a pretty regular basis, to keep things interesting.

The Reviews Are In

I also had my mom and a friend try Tizzy K’s and guess what?

They absolutely adored, saying it tasted so fresh, creamy and tasty!

And I concur…otherwise I wouldn’t be blogging about them here.

If your curiosity has been peaked, highly recommend following their IG @TizzyKsCerealIceCream and site for their current menu and upcoming pop-ups as well as opportunities to pre-order.

As always, if you end up partaking of their incredible ice cream after reading about them here, please let then you know you heard about them on PattyJ.com.
