We Had Some Of The Tastiest Tacos At This New Providence Takeout Window
In The Valley
There’s so much happening in the Valley neighborhood in Providence!
Most recently the NEWEST Tallulah’s Taqueria outpost (there’s the original on Ives Street and the one over in Jamestown proper) opened their takeout window, and we were there the other day. (Pssst…I have my eye on another biz there, but I keep missing them. Going to give it another try this coming Friday.)
Whether you’re looking ahead to this Thursday and Cinco de Mayo or you could eat their nachos, quesadillas, bowls, and tacos eight days a week, you’ll want to bookmark this marvelous outdoor space at the Farm Fresh RI hub on Sims Avenue.
The seating is comfy (and Thursday’s forecast looks pretty promising), the service is on point (the person who waited on us was wonderful), and the food is as amazing as ever!
We opted for their meat-free tacos (happy to report that they had three different kinds of vegetarian ones to pick from), nachos, and two of their Agua Frescas (a juice made with mangos, sugar, water, and a dash of lime).
We are talking some of the freshest and yummiest bites: No heat lamps or tasteless, subpar ingredients here folks! Helloooooo, made to order and flavorful Mexican. (For those grumbling about the price per taco, gotta mention someone in my life who always says whenever he comes across that kind of negativity online, it only makes him want to frequent the particular Rhode Island restaurant MORE. And me? I agree a gazillion %.)
And don’t stress if you’re a carnivore because they’ve got you.
If you’re already a fan, then you know !!! If you’re new here, I urge you to make a plan to pick up mid-week lunch or a weekend supper at TT on Sims.
Find this most recent Tallulah’s at 10 Sims Avenue in Providence, RI.
