People Are Going Bananas Over This Couple's Spin On A Classic Dessert

Meet The PPL With A New (Delish) Update On An Old Fav

Before finishing our undergraduate degrees, we both worked in the hospitality industry - Tom as a line cook and Sandra as a hostess/waitress/bartender. Once we obtained our degrees, we entered the finance industry. We love both industries for very different reasons, but we know we found our calling with Providence Pie Company

Why Mini Pies?

That's the question we're asked most often. When Sandra was pregnant, our daughter gave her quite the sweet tooth. Tom would bake goodies and, in an effort to not overindulge, would bake in smaller batches. We are pretty sure whoever said 'great things come in small packages' was talking about mini pie crusts. Not only did we love the fact that eating a pie or two seemed totally acceptable, but they were so easy to share. They also make trying a variety of flavors so easy, with no waste!

Go Local

We officially decided to open the business this Mother's Day, and we cannot believe the response we have gotten. Not only have we gotten to know some of our awesome customers, other local food businesses have been so incredibly supportive! Supporting the local community is very important to us, which is why we incorporate local ingredients in our products. For example, the blueberries in our Topless Blueberry pie come from Pippin Orchards in Cranston, and the rhubarb in our Strawberry Rhubarb pie comes from Earth Care Farm in Charleston

#Grateful

As we change our menu with the seasons, we cannot wait to continue growing these kinds of relationships. We also cannot wait for the opportunity to be able to give a new startup the same support we have received! We really cannot thank everyone enough for their support, guidance, and encouragement.
