The Local Holiday Pop-Up That's Like Something Out Of Pinterest & Instagram

Need another dose of Christmas spirit right about now? You know, to keep you going strong until the beginning of next week. How about a stunning wreath or festive seasonal flower arrangement? You're in luck because I found a place where you can get all of that. It also works if you have family in town for the holidays and you’re looking for an excuse to get the heck outta the house for a few.

So there I was driving around the Tiverton and Little Compton area. I spied a guy by the side of the road in LC; he was taking photos of an old (or old looking perhaps?) barn off in the distance using a camera with a ginormous lense. Good for him. Me? A little jelly and disappointed about the fact that there wasn’t one single place open where I could grab a cuppa coffee. Ughhhh. But there was that one spot I had seen earlier while passing thru the Tiverton Four Corners Historic District. It looked adorable, like something out of a cute and charming (Hallmark even) Christmas movie.

Before heading back to my neck of the woods, decided I'd definitely stop to get a closer look although it was getting late and the sun was setting. (It might not be polite or cheery to say here, but this whole sun setting by 4pm or so is really quel nightmarish.) And that's how I discovered something called The Farm and came to chat with the owner/proprietor, Peggy, for a few.

The Farm is this completely magical roadside Holiday Pop-Up that Peggy’s been putting together for around 8 years. Unfortunately, I did miss some of the details because I was there while she was wrapping up for the day. She did tell me, however, that ppl come from all over  (Cape Cod, Watch Hill, you name it) every single year to buy one of her creations. And that she's there every year until Christmas Eve. Swore I'd get back to scope everything out when she had it set up perfectly and in full swing, and I still might. You should def go though.

*She doesn't have any social media, and it also hasn't been Instagrammed thousands of times over (I couldn't find much online.), so if you go and get some fantastic phone photos, that would be such a win on Facebook or IG.
