It used to be that a non-blurry, smiling photo with you maybe holding a Del's was enough. That was the big summer beverage social media get only a few short years ago. Now, the stakes have been raised. Big time. Sure that Del's snap is still classic Rhody gold during July and August, but you and I both know it's all about what's new (or new-ish) and exciting - when it comes to eats and drinkies especially. Exactly why I've put together a short list of three key drinks (the hottest of the cold ones) for you to Instagram and enjoy this season in the OS. 

1. There's A New Classic Lemonade - Gather your friends who are wellness fans (They're going to freak, in a good way! GP would also approve wholeheartedly I think.) and those trying to ramp up their IG following with foodie (foody?) pics because the ppl over at Sydney have this Ginger Blue Algae Lemonade that's guaranteed to please 'em both. Cheersing to anti-inflammatory and photogenic on ice!

2. "How'd You Like Them Apples?" Ok, I hear Matt Damon's decamping to New Zealand, and don't get me started about Ben, but I can still quote Good Will Hunting, right? Because there's an Apple Cider Slushie at Confreda Farms (You probably already know them for their famous corn maze every fall.) that you're going to want to document with your I-Phone (Pics or it didn't happen as the kids say.) and drink up asap. So pencil in that treat day in Western Cranston, K?

Epic Food Porn - Open less than a year in Newport, Kaffeology is already making some waves with their shakes (also trending as “freak shakes”) that are unlike anything else you've probably experienced around these parts. The best way to decribe them? They're sort of like...if your eight year old, sweet loving self had had the chance to actually create your ideal DREAM dessert. You might not be able to finish it, so bring along a buddy to share it, and (equally as important) snap photos before you guys dig in.
