Not to be shallow (if I only had a dollar for every single story on Twitter, IG, and Facebook since Sunday night’s Oscars that questioned Bradley Cooper’s relationship with Lady Gaga…) or anything, but these days whether we’re out for coffee and a nosh or a full meal, interiors matter.

Sure we want delicious, freshly made eats and drinks. That’s a given. If the space, however, is lacking when it comes to natural light, decor, et cetera, let’s just say that we’re more than a little disappointed. It can be challenging though to find cafes and restaurants that combine both style (also known in some circles as being Insta Worthy) and substance (food that not only looks good in a foto but tastes incredible and is made from high quality ingredients).

With all this in mind then, I have news, and it’s pretty darn exciting whether you’re a self-described foody (or foodie…seen it spelled both ways) who lives in or adjacent to the 02920. Or you’re just looking for a brand new place for breakfast, lunch, or a snack break: Sydney is coming to Garden City Center this Spring!

After opening their first space in Providence just south of the train station in 2017, the Australian inspired cafe quickly became a shining star on the local food scene with their on point social and scrumptious 21 century staples like avo toast, brekkie bowls (did someone say worthy of buzz…yes, there is a bowl with bee pollen), and matcha green tea lattes. Not to mention classics such as Iced Coffee, Caesar Salads, Croissants, and Hot Chocolate.

They also introduced new drinkies into Rhody life including their signature Blue Green Algae Latte (photo above). All in a setting that no doubt your favorite big city IG Bloggers would be happy to upload from. Not since the hey days of Olivia Newton John, Rick Springfield, and Men At Work (also Tristan Rogers as Robt Scorpio on GH and maybe Russell Crowe too) have I ever been so enthusiastic about something Aussie. #WorthTheWait #MagicHappens #BigThingsComing
