The Christmas Light Display In Coventry That You'll Want To See This Weekend

Merry & Bright

It’s started in 1992, was put on pause in 2018 & 2019, returned last year with a slightly scaled down version, but is back this Christmas bigger and better than ever.

I’m talking about the Conway Christmas Lights Extravaganza in Coventry, Rhode Island.

Now we only just found out about it THIS week, but my hairstylist has been bringing her daughter for ages.

And it’s a huge yuletide tradition for so many other RI’ers.

We, being the newbies that we were to the extravaganza experience, were floored by the over 100,000 lights (8,000 on the house alone, I can’t imagine what their electric bill for December will be), made-by-hand and ginormous wooden TRAIN with Santa at the helm (also smoke coming out of the thing), old time-y snow people and reindeer and other holly jolly figures.

They are open every night thru 12-25 from 5pm to 10pm.

And phone photos really do NOT do it justice.

It truly has to be seen in person to be believed and fully appreciated.

The Conway Christmas Light Extravaganza is located at 265 Maple Valley Road in Coventry.
