Channel Your Inner Martha Stewart With A Crafting Class At This Chepachet Shop
Another one of the IG’s I enjoy checking in with every morning over my first cuppa coffee?
Hands down gotta be Martha Stewart’s personal page.
Whether she’s out ploughing snow (with a lotta help from her Polaris Off Road) on her Connecticut property, baking brown butter choc chip cookies, or posting a behind the scenes pic in which she’s all decked out in Alo Yoga (the HOT workout label right now by the way) attire, she manages to exude a certain cheerfulness, energy, and excitement.
I say this also because I’ve always kinda secretly wished I had Martha’s talent for crafting — and don’t even get me started about her cooking and gardening skills. (WATCHING her tutorials via the Martha Knows Best series on HGTV can be extremely relaxing too.)
If you feel the same way, then you’ll want to explore the winter classes over at The Hen House in Chepachet, an indoor and updated farmers market style set-up that I think MS would absolutely ADORE.
We’re talking Weaving 101 (imagine the possibilities, you can create everything from wall hangings and coasters to necklaces and rugs), their Wednesday night knitting circle (it’s still cold here through March, so you’re gonna need beanies, scarves and sweaters), and an intriguing Ukranian Egg Decorating (also known as pysanky) workshop that’s about as far away from a PAAS kit as you can possibly get.
These seminars are filling up pretty quickly, though, so do go over to their site asap for complete details and to sign up.
As always, if this post inspired you to go to The Hen House, do let them know you heard about them and these classes from Patty J and PattyJ.com.
