The Adorable Cabin Style Eatery In Bonnet Shores For Sunday Brunch And Beyond

Yes, I am one of those native Rhode Islanders who remembers when Gansett was strictly a summertime resort town. (Psst…My father’s younger sister owned a little bungalow on Great Island for many years.)

More year-round residents means you need more dining options beyond coffee hops and clam cakes & chowder windows, right?

With that in mind we circled back to a cute casual eatery that I first blogged about back in October 2021 — namely, The Coastal Cabin on Boston Neck Road in the Bonnet Shores section.

Don’t have a cozy hideaway in Vermont, Maine or New Hampshire you can motor off to late summer or early fall?

No problem, just check in from HERE.

This Rhody rustic eatery checks all the boxes with a VERY authentic looking exterior and interior (yes, cabincore is STILL a thing), friendly staff, and an extensive menu of tasty nibbles and sips.

We sat out on the back deck and ordered two of their meat-less burgers with side salads. (Don’t despair if you are a carnivore, though, because they have beaucoup options for you).

I also LOVE that they serve Sunday brunch until 4pm which means no rushing out the door to get there in time. You can enjoy a leisurely morning at home and then make your way over to Bonnet.

Bop over to their site or social to see their hours and full menu.

And as always, if you find yourself at The Coastal Cabin after reading THIS, please let them know you were inspired by Patty J and PattyJ.com.
