We Finally Got Seated At The Providence Restaurant That People Line Up For

Truth be told I have had my eye on Little Sister on Hope Street in PVD (from the same folks who, I believe, brought us Rebelle Artisan Bagels) for a while.

Every single time we motored over on the weekends, though, the lines to get in were…

Out the flipping door and down the darn street !!!

On a recent Friday afternoon, my great friend K.G. and I were fortunate enough to breeze in before 2pm, give our order to someone at the counter, and then (whewww) secure a bistro table in front of the windows.

I mean, THIS was months in the making.

Now, after having had an actual sit-down meal there, I can and will say that the buzz and the wait are rooted in five star ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ food and beverages.

Also, side bar, check out that PERFECT latte heart below.

For the record, the whole entire space is completely adorable, too, and tailor made for REELS and such. (It reminds me of somewhere you might stumble upon in Allston-Brighton in Bean Town).

Karen had an empanada and I had the shakshouka (poached eggs in a spicy red sauce served up in black cast-iron skillet) and we split a chocolate croissant. (I should’ve included pics of the empty plates below, baaah haaaaa 😆 .)

We’re talking carefully prepared — using tippity top quality ingredients — pastries, sandwiches, salads, coffee drinks, daily specials, and more.

You can even get wine, beer or a mimosa if you’re in the mood for a libation.

You guys, this place will spoil you if you’re used to grabbing coffee or tea and a croissant or a nosh from a national chain shop.

Find Little Sister at 737a Hope Street in Providence, Rhode Island.
