We Had A Delicious Breakfast At This Diner Style Eatery In Coventry

The hubs and I were craving some great breakfast food the other day, so we took a spin over to HASH on Main Street in Coventry.

Full disclosure, this adorable, family-owned, diner-style restaurant is actually in our family — it’s owned and run by my husband’s (lovely) sister.

That being said, you guys know that at the end of the day no nepotism here, I’m blogging about it because the food and service are TOP SHELF.

First off, everything there is made-to-order fresh. I mean, you can taste THAT in every bite. (Check out the gorgeous waffle with strawberries that the hubs devoured on Saturday afternoon.)

And their menu is loaded with American classic fare, from omelettes, pancakes, and waffles to sandwich specials, soups, salads, burgers, and handmade-on-the-premises baked goods (doughnuts, muffins, and cinnamon rolls).

PS — I would be remiss if I didn’t mention weiners because “NY System.”

This casual eatery in Kent County has a devoted following among those who live in the vicinity, but if you don’t live in the area, you might not be aware.

My sister-in-law also greets everyone like they’re an old friend popping by for coffee, and she’s a stickler when it comes to cleanliness, checking-in on customers, and getting the food out to guests as quickly as possible.

Find HASH NY System at 656 Main Street in Coventry, Rhode Island, and open Wednesday thru Monday. Check their site for specific hours and more.

As always, if you motor over after reading THIS, please let them know you were inspired by Patty J and PattyJ.com.
