The Sweet Restaurant In Providence That You Have To Thai

It all started back when I first blogged about Ives Street in the Fox Point neighborhood in Providence.

Most people were pleased, either thanking me for the recommendations (which included Tallulah's Taqueria and the now shuttered Malachi’s) and vowing to try them out asap or agreeing wholeheartedly with my picks because they were already diehard fans.

Then there were a few folks who were bent outta shape because I didn't include Bee's Thai Cuisine.

And they weren't shy about letting me know.

Well, the great news is that I’ve since made it over many , many times (I was there recently with a friend from Jamestown) and Bee’s is indeed marvelous!

The interior is bright and cheery, and the service is consistently fab.

Now, let's chat about the food.

Full Disclosure, I initially found the menu a bit overwhelming (page after page, filled with options, something for everyone's taste and mood), but I can be a bit indecisive in those types of situations.

A few of my personal faves include a hot and spicy soup with veggies (you can order yours with either chicken or shrimp if that's more your jam) called Tom Yum that was not only tasty, but also cleared out my sinuses, lol.

And their Mango Fresh Roll Appetizer (with mango, avocado, carrots, mint, cucumber and tiny noodles)…so fresh and light, summer in a bite…they deserve an extra special shoutout here!

Regulars rave about their pineapple fried rice, the papya and the cucumber salads, wonton soup, crab rangoon, and the pad Thai.

Find Bee’s Thai Cuisine at 167 Ives Street in Providence, Rhode Island.
