We Tried The Huge Espresso Martini In Newport That Everyone's Talking About

Open on Thames since last Winter — prior to that they had started as a cart — Wally’s Wieners specializes in delectable hot dogs (yay, they do have a vegan option), burgers, fries, and cocktails.

Our first visit to this stylish, diner-style eatery (the exterior is PINK) was the other day, and I was determined to order the GIGANTIC espresso martini that everyone seems to be super excited about these days.

It’s made with espresso from Custom House Coffee in Middletown, and you can choose from a light (made with vodka, coffee liqueur, Irish cream, and that local espresso) or dark (made with vodka, coffee liqueur, and that espresso) version.

It is $70 but you could always invite a bunch of your favorite people to split the drink and the tab with. (Also, the interior and exterior lend themselves to any photos or videos you might want to snap.)

Tbh, it really is ENORMOUS, way too much of a sip for one for even two, so think about going with your friend group or on a double date night this season.

Wally’s also has a full menu of traditionally sized ‘tinis (Karen Walker would approve, lol) including salted caramel, Almond Joy, Chai City as well as delish casual eats.

I had the vegan dog with all the toppings and a side of fries. Yum, yum, yummmmm…so you will want to order some food too.
