The New Mochi Donut Cafe In Cranston, Rhode Island
We stumbled on a new location of Pinku Donuts in Pawtuxet Village in Cranston and it’s splendid. (The original is apparently in Attleboro, Massachusetts.)
If you adore the color pink (pinku is Japanese for PINK), sweet interiors, bubble tea, and mochi donuts, then you too will want to motor over this month.
Mochi donuts are not only sweet but also lighter and chewier than traditional American doughnuts (because they are made from rice flour).
Regulars adore the chocolate, glazed, and strawberry. And the interior which has a cherry blossom wall, fuchsia pink woodwork supporting the counter and the pastry case, Japanese inspired umbrellas hanging from the ceiling, and another wall with neon lights and green grass. All superb backdrops for your photos and videos.
Very eye-catching and very pretty!
Also, I hear they’re opening a 3rd location in Providence real soon.
