Gondola Rides And Grilled Pizza In Providence, Rhode Island

The weather this week can best be described as SUMMER PREVIEW and the other great news?

La Gondola Providence is back from their winter break.

Whether you want to recreate some Italian magic from a past trip, you were a super fan of Stanley Tucci’s CNN show Searching For Italy (I’m hoping the series comes back on a new network) or you’re just looking for a way to enjoy this week to the fullest, how about booking a gondola ride?

They are an awesome way to capture some Venetian special-ness without having to hop any flights or stress over what to pack. (Also, if you want to ramp up the Italian trip vibes, grab a grilled pizza or two at either Bacaro or Al Forno afterwards.)

The hubs and I took our very FIRST ride back in 2016 and it was so enjoyable! In addition to serenading us, our gondolier looped us in on some local history that we were completely unaware of.

And we’ve been back a bunch of times since.

All in all, it is a fun-tastic afternoon or evening on the water in Providence and I cannot recommend it more, especially if you and your significant other want to do something Euro inspired and romantic.

If this sounds like something you’d LOVE to do this spring or summer, definitely take a look at their site: GondolaRI.com.

As always, if you go with La Gondola after reading this, please let them know you were inspired by Patty J and PattyJ.com.
