Take Your February Vacay From Meh To Marvelous With This Hidden Hotel

Need some Vitamin Sea this month, after what feels like a forever winter? This small boutique hotel that combines quiet luxe with incredible beach views might be just the thing. We had a chance to stay there recently and it was the kind of experience that will have you gushing to all your friends and fam about the posh atmosphere and amenities.

Royal Blues Hotel Relais & Chateau is 'hidden' on a palm tree lined lane of condos and chain hotels in Deerfield Beach, between Boca and Pompano, but it might as well be a world away. It feels like somewhere you might stay on a European getaway. Think French Riviera meets FLA.

With only 12 rooms, each and every one overlooking the beach, it boosts a pool deck on an upper level (where we stayed...Your room basically opens out onto a gleaming white deck with a pristine blue pool off to the right hand side where you can either lounge or splash.), sleek decor, post modern bathrooms (The toilets alone have something like 12 settings and you can program your shower temp however you prefer.), room service, and outstanding free breakfasts (The amentity that if we're really being honest can make or break your vacation.). 

There's also a restaurant/bar where you can have a pre-dinner drink and maybe interrogate the bartender about the owner/proprietor, who has his own private residence on the top two floors (which we hear, like the rest of the property, could rival anything in Architectural Digest  - also known as, AD - mag right now) and who has been known on occassion to bring some of his celeb friends (initials JT) back to the Chateau for dinner or an extended stay. So, you could end up rubbing elbows with some very high profile peeps during your February break without even realizing it.
