The Cutest Rhode Island Farmers Market You'll Want To Check Out This Saturday

Sweet Mornings At This Farmers Market

Last Saturday, the hubs and I motored over to the Farmers Market at Mount Hope Farm (127 gorgeous acres featuring a historic Inn and terrif views of the Mt Hope Bridge, also a wildly popular wedding venue) in Bristol, and it was marvelous.

Since it was rainy and still a bit chilly (being March in RI and all), the market was indoors in the Barn which dates back to 1860, is in fact one of the oldest buildings on the property and that morning, buzzing with activity.

The ceiling was whimsically decorated with strings of lights and sheer white fabric which made the interior all the more enchanting.

Add in a roaring fire in the fire place and oodles of new and classic local makers and vendors and you have the makings of an absolutely perfect weekend morning. (PS And BTW, I actually ran into a former co-worker from my days as a manager at Nordstrom Providence Place, too.)

I chatted and shopped some of my existing favorites, including Juniper Hill Apothecary (finally got my hands on one of their Coffee Coffee Candles and it is everything!), BUNs Bakery (grabbed a Lemon Ricotta Bab and some of their Holla Bread, too delish), Naked Fig Foods (some of the best hummus you will ever have), The Perfect Empanada (their Spinach & Mac And Cheese was amazing), Sky Light Bakery (indulged in one of their Cinnamon Buns and it was really yummy) and June Loves English Bakery (bought my momma some of their Lemon Tarts which she LOVED).

And discovered beaucoup new ones such as Simply Chickie (picked a few of their 100% organic cotton tees for my nieces kids), Tigris Handmade (beautiful footwear), Two Gals Cocktails (sampled their Espresso Martini), Meadow Brook Inn from Charlestown (you gotta try their Tomato And Mozz, Tomato Bruschetta, Cowboy Caviar, & Avocado Hummus), and so many more.

Can’t Wait To Go Back And See More Of The Mt. Hope Farm This Spring

It’s such a picturesque place to spend a morning.

Or an afternoon.

I say THAT because on a clear Saturday, you can also reserve a fire pit and do the whole s’mores thing which sounds lovely.
